The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced the exam dates for the Lab Assistant Recruitment 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 804 posts of Lab Assistant and Junior Lab Assistant in Science and Geography subjects. Candidates who have successfully applied can now check the examination schedule and start their final preparation. As per the official notice, the written examination will be conducted in May 2026 in offline mode. The board has also clarified that admit cards will be released separately on its official website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the RSSB portal for updates regarding admit cards, exam centres, and important instructions.

RSSB exam dates and schedule

According to the official notification, the written examination for Geography posts will be held on May 9, 2026. The Science paper will be conducted on May 10, 2026. The examination will be held in different districts across Rajasthan.The exam will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. All questions will be objective type. Candidates must report to the exam centre as per the time mentioned on the admit card. Entry will not be allowed after the reporting time.

Admit card and exam pattern

The board will release the admit cards a few days before the examination. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website of RSSB using their registration details. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof.The written exam will include questions related to the concerned subject, general knowledge, and basic Rajasthan knowledge. The detailed syllabus is available in the official notification. There will be negative marking as per board rules.

Selection process and next steps

The selection process includes a written examination followed by document verification. There will be no interview. Final selection will be based on merit prepared from written exam marks.Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for document verification. They must produce original certificates related to education, age, category, and other eligibility conditions.Applicants are advised to follow the official website regularly for further updates.
